Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Apple Pie:
- Red ripe pie apples 2 (washed, cubed& soaked in lemon juice)
- 1 tablespoon Corn flour
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon powder
- Nutmeg powder 1 small pinch
- 2 cups APF
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- Cold cubes butter 1 cup+ 1 tablespoon for filling
- Cold water to knead the dough
- Sugar 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons
- 2-3 drops Vannila essence
- 1/4 cup Rajma beans to blind bake
Instructions to make Apple Pie
- First, sieve and combine the APF, 2 tbsp sugar, vanilla, Baking powder and add cold butter. Break it with fingertips and make a breadcrumb like mixture.



- Then add cold water and make a smooth but firm dough and cover with cling wrap. Refrigerate for 2 hrs



- Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a pan. Add apple cubes and saute for 5 minutes. Then add the sugar, spice powders, and sprinkle 1 tablespoon water. Cover and cook till juicy. Then mix cornflour and stir cook for 5 minutes.



- Then remove from heat and cool completely. Remove the pie dough and keep the container in warm water to thaw for 10 minutes. Then Preheat oven to 180 °c. for 10 min.



- Take out a ball sized portion of the dough and roll into a disc. Take a pie dish. Grease with butter and dust with flour. Then line the dish with disc and press well. Cut off excess. Prick with fork all over.

Then add the rajma beans. Blind bake for 5 to 8 minutes. Remove and take out the beans. Your pie shell is ready. This is blind baking.


- Now fill in the apple mixture in the pie shell. Now roll out another disc from dough and cover the top. Cut off extra from edges. Prick with fork. I made a little flower and leaves and attach on the top with the help of water. Brush all over with milk.



- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove and brush with melted butter. Cut into triangular slices and serve warm with vanilla ice-cream. Enjoy.
